Welcome to my data diary series; week of emotions 🙂 🙁 :* :/

This week I recorded all my emotions every hour of the day from Monday to Sunday and I have put on paper the ones that I felt strongest. Noticing how I felt was particularly helpful because I could recognise what would cause an emotion and whether it was worth feeling it or not. Some emotions just appear for nor apparent reason. Some I felt every single day of the week while others happened a few times but strongly.

I couldn’t record all of them I don’t have that many colours because some would just happen for a few seconds, some I’d forget about after the end of the hour and some I just could not understand. Also, that would just be too much data.

How to read

Every horizontal line represents a day. Monday through to Sunday from top to bottom.

Each colour represents the strongest emotions that day.

Findings

I thought I would be biased when I began the week. Feel things just to record them, but that was not the case. I went throughout my days as they were, recorded as they came and I think I’m pretty confident with the data.

I was always happy though. As much as there were days with some negative emotions like fear and anxiety, gratitude and happiness were always the baseline emotions. So many wonderful things happened to me this week:)

This was my deepest week yet.
