Spending one and a half days at home is probably what I needed to get past my writer’s block. I was writing a tutorial on using Django formsets last week, but then I realised there are a dozen similar tutorials on the internet already, so why become the dozen + 1? That tutorial has been buried inside the casket with the rest of my articles that will probably never see the light of day. Said casket happens to be filling too fast for my own good. But in case you’re interested in knowing how to handle multiple forms with the same data on the same page with Django, then this article will be a lifesaver. I know because I have used it.
One and a half days at home has gotten me overflowing with words. I had to stop what I was doing for a moment and let it all out before it evaporated away and I went back to being in the writer’s block funk I was in last week. This unfortunate pandemic has had me cancel a trip with my grandmother that I have been looking forward to for the last year. However, there are some silver linings amidst this dark cloud that is looming over the entire world. I feel more in tune with myself. Cheesy? I know. But it is an amazing feeling. I don’t have to make plans of going anywhere or doing anything outside the house, other than sitting on my laptop and maybe going for a run in the evening to get some fresh air. Another good thing is that one of my assignments has been pushed to a week later. Yes, I went back to school. See how that is going so far. Yeah, even during my masters I still get wildly excited when assignment dates are pushed. Don’t judge me. Oh, and the last good thing, is that I have slightly figured out the direction of this blog and maybe a new name… but that’s an article for another day. So stay tuned!
