Getting ready and not having anywhere to go is something I am getting used to. At least I have managed to stay on track with work and school, and my blog (sorta). I digressed from writing the Head First Java book review to come here and continue with my working from home chronicles.

I am enjoying the peace and quiet being at home has to offer. I like how extremely focused my mind is on a task for times on end. I like how I haven’t had to commute for an entire week, I like how my skin is thanking me for keeping it away from fumes, and I like how I don’t have to wake up and rush through getting ready to avoid traffic or being late. It’s almost perfect. Yes, almost, because the temptation to take a nap in the middle of my working hours has increased a hundredfold. But I am proud to say, 5 days in and I have not given in… yet

I have been lucky enough not to experience a blackout in the middle of a working day while at home, until right now. As I write this, it is 6 pm and the only light in my room illuminating from my laptop screen and a floral scented candle. It’s dark inside, cold and wet outside, but I do have some things to smile about; completed my school work for the day, completed my work tasks for the day and this little post will go up. I am also happy about my scented candle.

Stay Safe:)
